Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) aims at assessing possible environmental impacts of any development project or activity prior to taking up the project so that precautionary measures could be taken to minimize the adverse impacts on the people and the environment.

Usually physical intervention of any development project may change state or pollute air, water and soil, which can affect life and livelihood of the people living around. Addressing EIA recommendations results in sustaining productivity and benefits of a project in the long run.
PCSL has developed in-house capacity on EIA and getting involved in this specialized field of research. Long experience of Managing Director of PCSL as environmental activist and access to all concerned are helping to gradually develop capacity of PCSL in this field.
